A power amplifier is an electronic device that can amplify the power of the input signal. The working principle of the power amplifier can be simply understood as "small signal controlling large signal". These different types of power amplifiers have their own advantages and disadvantages and are suitable for different application scenarios. Class A power amplifiers have the best sound quality, but low efficiency, and are suitable for occasions with extremely high sound quality requirements; while Class D power amplifiers have the highest efficiency, but slightly inferior sound quality, and are often used in portable audio and car audio and other occasions that require high efficiency.

In addition to common home audio systems, power amplifiers also play an important role in professional audio fields (such as concerts, theaters, cinemas, etc.), radio and television fields, and wireless communications. Their performance is directly related to the quality of sound and the distance it is transmitted.
